A first-of-its kind wellness centre, located in the heart of highbrow Ikoyi has opened in Lagos.

Just opposite the exclusive Ikoyi Club, sits Bodyline Wellness Centre, with unprecedented luxury and facilities and a dedication to wellness like none other.

In a city dominated by so much work and traffic, with executives constantly in search of healthy ways to relax and rejuvenate, Bodyline, according to founder Bankole Opashi, is an intervention, to rescue us all from the madness, using all the tools we love to indulge. The only difference, Opashi says, is that Bodyline goes beyond fitness and relaxation. ‘It’s a full wellness centre, with healthy living at the core of every solution we provide’.

There are gyms and saunas, indoor swimming pool, restaurants, cinema, bars, lounges, manicure, pedicure, massage and gaming facilities. With all the offerings tailored to help Lagosians live healthier and longer.

‘It’s a win-win’, he told journalists in Lagos. ‘We’re having fun, keeping fit, networking and relaxing, while enjoying a healthy diet’, says the Lawyer-businessman who admits he fell in love with the idea of a wellness centre while trying to solve his own fitness problems.

‘I couldn’t find a suitable place, no matter how hard I tried’. After a while, I realized there were many like me who want to keep fit and live better, but cannot find the right facilities around town.’

Bodyline first opened in Abuja seven years ago. The Lagos launch this week, marks the roll out of a national network that’ll see the brand launch in major parts of Nigeria in the coming years.

Fitness facilities within the wellness center include an indoor swimming pool, male and female sauna rooms, weight and cycling rooms while the yoga, kickboxing, dance and pilates sections cater to individual fitness needs as well as exclusive salon offerings for both ladies and gentlemen.
