Organisers announced today, that this year’s edition of World PR Day will see a remarkable lineup of over 25 events taking place worldwide to honour and recognise the invaluable contributions of public relations and communications professionals.

 

These confirmed events promise to bring together PR professionals, thought leaders, and enthusiasts, fostering knowledge exchange and celebrating achievements.

 

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), a global industry body, will host a dedicated event for WPRD 2023. Additionally, PRCA will offer a generous 15% discount on PRCA training throughout the summer and will provide support by amplifying the celebration across their platforms.

 

GLG Communications, a public relations agency operating out of Nigeria has planned a series of exciting activities including a cocktail event in Lagos on July 14 to commemorate WPRD. In collaboration with The Guardian, GLG Comms will also release a second edition of its highly anticipated Top 50 PR Power List. Additionally, they have scheduled a virtual event on July 11, ensuring that everyone can join in the celebration.

 

Global Media Alliance (GMA), a focused Integrated Media & Entertainment Company in Ghana has been actively engaging in a WPRD festival since April, featuring various activities such as Twitter Spaces in April and May as well as other events that run until July 16, where they will culminate their celebrations with a physical WPRD summit.

 

The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) is offering a 15% discount on its global summit as part of the WPRD celebrations while the Comms Avenue, a professional body out of Africa is collaborating with Sahara Group, a leading international energy and infrastructure conglomerate, to host a physical event themed “making a difference with comms” on July 8, in honour of WPRD.

 

PRCI, an influential association in the Indian public relations landscape, is all set to commemorate WPRD across its 55 chapters throughout the country. The organisation will host a physical event on July 16, which coincides with the maiden edition of their Entrepreneurship Summit & Award, adding a special touch to the celebration.

 

These are just a few examples of the exciting events confirmed for World PR Day 2023.
