In its capacity as the official communications partner of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), MTN Nigeria hosted the Super Eagles to a breakfast meeting in honour of the team’s exemplary performance at the recently-concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. The Super Eagles earned a podium finish with a silver medal, showcasing exceptional skills and determination throughout the competition.

 

The breakfast with the Super Eagles held at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, and brought together esteemed guests, top company executives, football enthusiasts and media representatives, to celebrate the team’s remarkable journey and achievements. The event served as a platform for MTN to further express its unwavering commitment to football development, and fostering a vibrant sporting culture in Nigeria.

 

According to MTN Nigeria’s CEO, Karl Toriola, “The Super Eagles have once again demonstrated their passion and resilience on the field. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments at AFCON, reaching the finals and securing the silver medal. The telecommunications giant will on Friday kick off the second season of the MTN Champs, an athletics competition designed to discover young talents and develop them to represent Nigeria at national and international competitions.
