MTV Base Africa is set to launch two refreshing, thrilling and exciting news bulletins News-Ish and News- Ish Round-Up on the station’s schedule.
The locally produced content will play a key role on the channel by keeping audience up to date on the latest news stories, trending topics and hottest events within the country.
These new programmes are part of MTV’s effort to create an audience-centered platform, which will give young people the chance to be part of the MTV Base world.
This comes on the heels of the recently launched entertainment shows, Lip Sync Battle Africa and The Bigger Friday Show. Also launching later in the year is the MTV Base VJ Search and Ridiculousness Africa, which will be hosted by Basketmouth.
News-Ish airs on weekdays at 7pm on DSTV channel 322 premiering Monday June 6 while the weekly News-Ish Round-Up will be showing weekends premiering on Saturday June 4 at 6:30pm.
