Fast-rising gospel artiste, Iyabo Ikekhuah has just released her debut album titled ‘Olorun Ara’ meaning ‘God of Wonders’.
The talented artiste who started off singing in her church’s choir founded a band called ‘Jesufemi Band’ in 2004 and has in its company performed at various churches and television stations in Nigeria.
The five track album features spiritual, danceable songs titled; Asiko Mi, Alujo medley, You are worthy oh Lord, Miracle Worker and In your presence.
Having been the choir coordinator in her church for over 10 years, Iyabo Ikekhuah has mastered how to lead her listeners on an open journey of praise, worship and hope.
Speaking on the launch, Iyabo Ikekhuah remarked;
“I’m so excited to finally be doing this. It’s been a dream for a while now and finally bringing it to fruition is a gift from God that I really can’t describe. I’d like to thank my family and friends for all the support and encouraging words!”
Iyabo Ikekhuah has hopes that this album will help people restore and fuel their faith, thereby trusting and receiving God’s steadfast love and powerful gifts.
