There is a reason fans of Erica Nlewedim, the popular Big Brother Naija contestant, are called Elites. It’s because they are truly elites — stylish, confident, and authentic. These traits were boldly seen in the streets of Aba when the actress and model embarked on a city tour.

Dressed impeccably and carrying trumpets with chants of praises for their role model, the fans chanted and gave Erica a royal welcome.

It’s no secret that Erica had never been to her hometown and it’s been her desire to visit the state known as the manufacturing hub for fashionable footwear. That dream finally came true when Legend Extra Stout and Star Radler, premium brands from Nigerian Breweries Plc, planned a two-day homecoming tour for the young and cheerful model who is also the brand ambassador. The tour kicked off on Wednesday, December 16.

It’s no secret that Erica had never been to her hometown and it’s been her desire to visit the state known as the manufacturing hub for fashionable footwears. That dream finally came true when Legend Extra Stout and Star Radler, premium brands from Nigerian Breweries Plc, planned a two-day homecoming tour for the young and cheerful model who is also the brand ambassador. The tour kicked off on Wednesday, December 16.

On arrival, Erica was welcomed with open arms to the South Eastern region. As soon as she touched down at the Port Harcourt Airport, she was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a cake. She also received traditional accolades from a cultural dance troupe as she drove through the city all the way to her hotel. Overwhelmed from all the love and affection she received, she revealed how much she had missed her hometown, its culture, and her people.

Another exciting part of the tour was her media tour to the Flo 94.9fm where she shared native greetings to her people across the state and why she had returned home with both brands. She mentioned that she wanted people to understand that everything she had achieved so far was from her ability to stay true to herself, despite societal challenges.

The highpoint of the interview was when she was cajoled into participating in the viral #SlowMotionChallenge. The tour will continue today, December 17th as Erica makes her way to the Government House and Flowzone Event at the De Latinos Bar, in Umuahia.
