BHM Holdings CEO Ayeni Adekunle Joins ABC 2026 Speaker Lineup

Ayeni Adekunle, CEO of BHM Holdings, will speak on how Africa can turn its growing global visibility into investment and commercial value during a fireside chat at the Africa Breakfast Convos (ABC) 2026. Ayeni and Claudine Moore, Managing Director for Africa at Allison Worldwide, will join the fireside chat during the fourth edition of ABC on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the World Trade Center in New York. The conversation will focus on converting regional momentum – such as Kenya’s 5.3% GDP growth and Ghana’s GH¢46.1 billion trade surplus – into tangible global partnerships.

After founding BHM in Lagos in 2006, Ayeni has since developed the company into an international communications group with operations across Africa and the United Kingdom. BHM Holdings includes BlackHouse Media, ID Africa, and Plaqad, an artificial intelligence-powered communications technology platform.

Under his leadership, BHM has built a global team of more than 100 consultants and expanded its work across public relations, strategic communications, media, technology, and research. In 2026, PRovoke Media named BHM one of Africa’s best agencies, marking the company’s fourth appearance on the publication’s annual list.

He founded World Public Relations Day (World PR Day) and led the development of the Africa Public Relations and Communications Report, which studies the industry across 29 African countries.

PRovoke Media named Ayeni among its 25 leading communications innovators in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2021. He has also received multiple PR Practitioner of the Year awards for his contributions to public relations and the expansion of African communications businesses into global markets.

“Africa is no longer a future opportunity; it’s a present-day growth market. This event brings together the entrepreneurs building pan-African businesses, the investors financing them, and the policymakers creating enabling environments. We’re moving beyond potential to explore how Africa’s influence translates into tangible commercial value,” Ayeni said.

The speaker lineup features Hackim Abdul, Director of Citi’s Public Sector Group for Africa; Yasamin Alttahir, Director of Global Marketing, Communications and External Affairs at The King’s Trust International; Kayode Akintemi, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of News Central TV; Akunna Cook, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Next Narrative Africa; and Otunba (Dr.) Bimbola Ashiru, Chairman, Blackcod Group and Group Director, Odu’a Investment Company Limited.
