Life Continental Lager Beer, the orchestrators of Life Progress Booster, an initiative set up with the sole aim to support up-and-coming entrepreneurial businesses, is expected to berth its progress train in Anambra, at Cornerstone Garden, Uga Village near Ekwulobia on the 9th of September 2018.
The entrepreneurial initiative, which is targeted at promoting small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), is earmarked across the South-eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Delta and Rivers where the brand carries a lot of clout as market leader.
Life Progress Booster initiative recently empowered 25 entrepreneurs with the sum of N300,000 each in Enugu since it kicked off its fourth edition. According to, Brand Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout Brands, Emmanuel Agu, “Progress Booster is a programme with the sole aim of supporting the people of the South-east, who have innovative business ideas to encourage their entrepreneurial spirit. We are excited by the success of the previous three editions. We are also ready to support another set of entrepreneurs, who will qualify through the business pitch this year, and we look forward to empowering other hardworking and innovative business men and women”.
Every year since 2015, Life Continental Lager Beer has rewarded deserving entrepreneurs in South-Eastern Nigeria with these grants to help them grow their business. This year will mark the fourth edition of the grant award by the beverage brand.
To be part of the initiative, interested participants can submit their business proposals at designated outlets or visit life-nigeria.com to send in their entries. Shortlisted candidates will then proceed to pitch their existing businesses to a team of business experts and judges including Chief Technologist, Enugu State University, Dr Ferdinand Ozoani, a member of Customary Court Enugu, Mr Michael Ndubuisi, and CEO, Four Seasons Bar and Restaurants, Onitsha, Mr Martins Ezigbo. Successful candidates across the catchment zones get to receive grants to support their businesses.
