Broadcaster and on-air personality Ilooise Omonhinmin is stepping into a new role as co-host of MTN Next Afrobeats Star, the reality show on a mission to discover the next generation of African hitmakers.
Known for his commanding voice, humor, and versatility, Ilooise has made his mark on radio and television, with stints at MTV Base West Africa and 88.5 UFM. His ability to blend professionalism with fun has made him one of the standout personalities in Nigerian entertainment.
Now, as co-host of Next Afrobeats Star, he’s bringing that same energy to a show that celebrates the rhythm, hustle, and stories behind the continent’s biggest sound. Paired with Amiola Aguda, the duo promises engaging chemistry, lively banter, and a front-row view of Africa’s next big stars.
