This year, “33” Export Lager launched its new experiential platform tagged “Connect parties”,

Consumers and their loved ones were entertained by top DJs and comedians; and treated to interesting games like the famous Jenga, Connect 4 and many more.

The “33” Export Connect Parties made 33 stops in Nigerian key cities of Lagos, Jos, Uyo, Aba, Makurdi, Benin and Akure. In every city, the brand connected with consumers, providing them a platform to meet new friends, expand their network, play games, enjoy comedy, dance to music, and win exciting prizes, all while enjoying ice-cold “33” Export Lager.

Only recently, the beer brand was at the center of a social media campaign that helped music superstar KCEE connect with his long lost friend, Ocheku Osheme based in Abuja.

“33” Export reacted to the trending conversation online and deployed its might towards the search for Osheme. In about a week, Kcee re-established contact with his long lost friend. Then, “33” Export proceeded to help two of the singer’s fans connect with their friends as well.

Over the years, few brands have been as consistent as “33” Export to a cause as important as friendship; it is not difficult to see how the brand can claim to be the beer of choice for celebrating great moments.

As people all over the world come together to toast to another World Friendship day, July 30th, “33” Export raises the bar on its activities in confirmation of its positioning as the beer known for promoting connections.

The long and jolly history of the world friendship day is a story worth sharing with friends. In the early days of the celebration, it was heavily promoted by greeting card companies who wanted to increase sales by giving people a reason to buy more cards. However, with the growth of social media, World Friendship Day has become a symbolic day for friends.

At the heart of these growing celebrations are brands such as “33” Export, which has built a persona around fostering bonds. Over the years, the brand has received huge recognition for creating platforms that celebrate bonds. Two of such are the widely acclaimed “City of Friends” initiative and the recently introduced “33” Export Connect parties.

The ‘City of Friends’ provides consumers with an exciting atmosphere to bond, party and create memorable moments in a bespoke “city”. The event, which first held in 2016 has over the years featured live size games, comedy and music performances by A list artistes and DJs such as Phyno, Flavour, Seyi Shay, MI Abaga, DJ Neptune, DJ Lambo, among others.

We can’t wait for what the brand has in store for us in 2019.
