One Lagos Fiesta, the festival of art, culture and entertainment, which launched last year as a way of celebrating the spirit, character and traditions of Lagos state while ushering in the new year, is now back – bigger, bolder and better than the maiden edition.

The annual end of year party, which celebrates the best of Lagos art and culture, returns for another edition, which promises to be a memorable one.

Scheduled to take place in five different locations in the state – Ikorodu, Badagry, Agege, Victoria Island and Epe, One Lagos Fiesta will feature performances by some of the biggest names in the Nigerian entertainment industry as well as live DJ sets by the industry’s finest.

The movie heads are not left out either, as a couple of local movies will be screened at the 8-day event. With over 40 concerts over and 500 hours of entertainment, this might as well be the grandest party of the year.

Another major highlight of the event will be the “Lagos Got Talent” open mic contest, which aims to put the spotlight on the tons of undiscovered young talents that abound across the mega city.

And of course, there will be food – lots of it, as a good number of food and drink vendors from all over the state will be at the event serving the best of local and intercontinental dishes.

Even more, there are tons of kiddies-friendly fun activities lined up, so entire families can come along to enjoy non-stop music, games, food and lots of other side-attractions, and all happening locations around the Metropolis, there seems to be no better way to usher in the new year in Nigeria’s Mega City.
